Hampshire Homechoice

Hampshire Home Choice uses four bands to assess housing need:

• Band 1 - Urgent Need
• Band 2 - High Need
• Band 3 - Medium Need
• Band 4- Low Need

Each application is given:

• A Registration Date (when you applied)
• A Priority Date (when you were placed in your band).

How Priority is decided

Applications ordered by:

1. Band 
2. Priority Date
3. Registration Date

This means people in the highest band with the earlies Priority Date will usually be offered properties first.
