Anyone who has been accepted onto the Hampshire Home Choice Housing Register can start to bid for properties. In order to do this you will need to complete an online application. Alternatively if you cannot apply on line you can contact your local housing service who will help complete an application on your behalf. If you do not provide us with the documents required your application may be accepted onto the housing register but will not be awarded any priority. Once the documents are received your application will be assessed and placed in the appropriate band. Click Prioritising Applications for more details on our banding scheme.
If you are having trouble completing an online application you can contact your local housing service for further advice on submitting the application. Once you have started an online application you will be given 28 days to complete. After this customers are welcome at any time to start a new application on-line.
Before you are offered a property you may be asked by the landlord to provide further documents to support your application. All documents provided must be originals, up to date and valid.
Social housing tenants who wish to exchange their properties can apply through the Homeswapper website.
Customers wishing to apply for Homebuy or shared ownership schemes can go to the Homes in Hants website.
