Further to recent updates Hampshire Home Choice has reviewed the way in which social housing is allocated following a change in the law. The introduction of the Localism Act 2011 gives Councils the freedom to better manage their waiting lists and determine priorities for allocating social housing.
All new applications and where there is a change of circumstances to an existing application will be assessed in accordance with the new policy from the 22nd April 2013.
